Maybe hit an off night, but the food was all a bit overcooked. Very mushy vegetables overall but especially the spring roll - the inner vegetables were just mush. Over cooked noodles. Breading on the sesame chicken was not crispy and a little soggy. The wonton soup was tasty. Will try again but was expecting a little more as far as quality. In no way terrible, just not great this go round.

Great cozy Chinese restaurant. We got the Lo Mein with Chicken and the Pan Fried Noodles with chicken. Both were good! Pan Fried noodles were a little too greasy but still had a really good flavor. Blue Moon and Yuengling on draft for $2.99. Great atmosphere and polite service. Took about 10 mins the bring my check back after taking my credit card, but lady said sorry and that it was because they were busy.

We went with a group of 4. We all liked our food.

My first experience with this restaurant and we got delivery. Beef sticks were okay, but bit too chewy and just not tender enough but the flavor was good. Chicken fried rice was good, but not enough chicken. The star of the show though, and something that I just usually order as almost a throw away dish that I would barely eat, was hot and sour soup of all things.I've never been impressed with any hot and soup from Anywhere, But here it was an explosion of flavor and perfectly balanced umami where you can discern the hot and sour in a delicious broth that still wets my taste budsNever in my life did I think I would be haunted by the craving for this outrageously delicious soup but it's happened. Get it

The food was tasty and the service was great also. We had the lunch menu. Lots of choices. Will go back the next time I'm in the neighborhood.

This was my first time trying this restaurant and i am very pleased with the friendly service and how good the food is. I love that the sweet and sour chicken comes with green pepper, onion and carrots and the fried rice is so good. This will be my new favorite Chinese restaurant.

Service was good but food not so much. Orange chicken was burnt and made my stomach hurt food overall tasted old.

Great restaurant, good food, great staff!PROS:-- Great environment: comfortable seating, calming music, modern lighting, and beautiful leather menu.-- Tasty food with good complimentary add-ons (crispy chips before meal, and chili paste upon request)-- Good portion sizes.-- Friendly and attentive staff. -- Reasonable prices. -- Great parking availability.CONS:-- Rice portion is very small.-- lack of authentic recipes (this is more of an "American Chinese" establishment)

My wife and I had a simple meal of soups and spring rolls. Egg drop for her and Hot'n Sour for me with a bowl of white rice to mix in. We both totally enjoyed our meal. The spring rolls came out later, were hot, flaky, and very tasty. We have been here before and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Small spot but great food and service.

One of the best chinese restaurants in richmond. Great food, great atmosphere, they do take out, they also deliver, very fast and friendly service. My family loves it, and my wife is picky about chinese food.

Jiang is honestly one of the best tasting places I've gone to for Chinese.... I only wish they offered a large serving Hot and Sour soup. The prices aren't too bad, and the service is really nice.

Service was great, and food was authentic! ( at least the dishes we tried) We had a wonton soup, chicken and broccoli and Singapore noodles.

A favorite Chinese restaurant of ours in Chesterfield. Lots of choices, freshly prepared. Quick service.

Best Chinese food in all of Richmond! Pork fried rice is excellent, I've ordered here over 100 times and have never been disappointed.

Always friendly staff; they will treat you like family. Always good food; no matter what you or how much you order. Lunch specials are a great value. We came Christmas night and even though they were extremely busy the food was worth the little wait it took.

I order here for the first time because my normal Chinese spot is closed during the virus. I really wanted Lo Mein. I bought lunch for the whole family. The portions was they gave a lot of sauce and fortune cookies they followed our special instructions, but the food was lack luster. The fried rice was bland. My Lo mien was basic. No bold yummy flavor. I kept eating only because I was hungry. I was upset they didn't have just pork egg rolls. I'm allergic to shrimp so I had to get the veggie ones. The worst was not only were the chicken wings too expensive for what you get, they were super super salty. I had to throw them away. I could 8 whole in tact chicken wings for $8 at my original place instead of 4 flats and 4 drumets I got from here. I was not impressed nor satisfied with the food for how much money I spent. Needless to say I will not be ordering from here again.

Lettuce wraps were great! Got my order as take out. Hostess was not friendly nor helpful. General tso was awful. It tasted like it had been burned and was very soggy.

THE BEST CHINESE FOOD I'VE EVER HAD. This place has amazing and courteous service, delicious food and a beautiful atmosphere. I've been eating Chinese food exclusively at Jiang's for years and I've never been disappointed. 10/10 Highly recommend.

Would give a bit closer to 4.5 if that was an option. Service was good - never any issues. The $5 kid’s meal was a great option for the toddler - fries and chicken fingers. The lunch combos are all around $8; my general Tso’s was $8.95 (these do not include a drink). You don’t get a massive portion, either, but it will still fill you up. The soups are the best part. It’s definitely getting a bit decrepit in decor - signs are fading and rips in the booths are covered by potholders from dollar tree sewn in. Overall a solid place for a basic Chinese meal.

Excellent food and very good service.

It’s good but there’s almost no flavor to the meat dishes. Closest restaurant to us too. No other complaints about them other than seasoning!

The crispy honey chicken is addictive! A bit expensive but the quality and quantity make it worth it.

Waitress was hospitable to my friends who order their food speaking Chinese.when I asked for a little bit of hot spice in my food I got a big argument and debate from the waitress. The food came out tasting like it have been fried in 5 day old grease everything was greasy and and there was no hot spices as I had ordered. When I requested it we still did not get it and had to ask again. Not a place that I recommend at all the service is horrible..food extremely greasy! Disgusting.

Dropped by for some carry out and got a great dinner for 3. The food was very good. But we we're really impressed by the staff that caught that they had overcharged us before we noticed. They corrected the issue, brought out food up and we were on our way. Love the crispy chicken and Gnl. Tso's tofu!
Elizabeth McGrath
Oh, that was an awesome lunch! Definitely worth it!

Loved it. I asked for crisp Gen. Tso chicken and the chicken was crispy.

Love the food here!! Great service as well!

It's great that they deliver, but dining in is a treat. The pork in my dish had a delicate crispiness that would have been lost had it been packaged and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. Great service and great food.

I tried take out from Jiang's after such glowing reviews as we were on a hunt for a good local Chinese restaurant. I just don't get it. The food was very average, nothing special. Fortunately we just discovered Inter China which is just across the Midlothian Turnpike and the food is so much better, well seasoned, fresh, very tasty and their lunch specials are a great deal!

Great food, kind of pricey!

I ordered delivery from hear today and the food arrived very quickly. This was the second time I’ve had their food and it was very good. The first time, I ate at the restaurant and had a great experience as well. Highly recommend.

Excellent customer service and the food was delicious. Great place to dine in or take out. One of the best Chinese restaurants in Richmond. Please stop by & be amazed.

YUCK! One bite of the egg roll and I wanted to vomit. I think the oil it was cooked in was bad. My husband had to send his pepper steak back as the steak was too tough. That replaced it with Hunan shrimp, which also tasted 'off'. My chicken with vegetables was ok. Nothing to write home about. I saved most of it to go. Instead of giving me a box to pack myself, they took the food and put it in a tiny box. I can't imagine all my leftovers were in there. The total cost with 2 iced teas came to just over $23 for a lunch special.
travis mantooth
Probably the most mediocre sesame chicken ive ever had. They might as well have just thrown chicken in a bowl with sesame oil. Definitely not worth the money.

Randomly stopped in on my lunch break to get take out and I'm glad I did. The shrimp lo mein came out quicky, was really flavorful, and had a ton of shrimp. The host at the front was extremely kind and efficient.
